Renoma is a modern multifunctional building combining retail and services with office space. It has been a symbol of the city and an architectural and cultural element of the landscape of downtown Wroclaw ever since. In 1977, the building was entered in the register of monuments as a flagship work of European modernism. Today, Renoma is the largest monument of its kind in Poland and the only surviving pre-war Wertheim department store. However, such a unique building required several changes to restore it to its former glory. Globalworth has therefore been working on the metamorphosis of the monument since 2019.
Place to grow
As part of the metamorphosis, Renoma has regained the original layout of the twin courtyards. The two atriums are decorated with white and gray marble from Portugal and Turkey, gilded sculptures of famous heads modeled after those on the facade, and huge chandeliers whose shape is reminiscent of the pre-war art déco originals. The brand portfolio at Renoma continues to grow, visitors will already find fashion gems from top Italian brands. The result of the changes is Pedet, a modern gastronomic and cultural zone that provide an unforgettable artistic and culinary experience. It’s the perfect place to spend your leisure time. Moreover, new Renoma also offers nearly 35,000 sqm of comfortable office space.
