We are honored that the Romanian Government has selected Globalworth Campus to represent our country in the bid to host the European Medicines Agency (EMA) in Bucharest.
EMA, a decentralised agency of the European Union, responsible for the scientific evaluation, supervision and safety monitoring of medicines in the EU, is currently located in London. However, it has decided to relocate its headquarters to another European jurisdiction, with Romania formally expressing its interest in accommodating the agency.
Globalworth Campus, the venue proposed in the submission by the Romanian Government, is a development that balances office facilities, retail and other supporting amenities. It is, an environmentally friendly space, providing the infrastructure for innovation and a continuous learning process that such agencies need.
Located in northern Bucharest, on Dimitrie Pompeiu street, next to Pipera Metro station, Globalworth Campus is a Class “A” office development, which, following its completion, will comprise three buildings incorporating the latest technologies and environmentally friendly specifications in order to deliver the very best of office experience. The project will be complemented by one of Bucharest’s largest conference centres, providing the infrastructure for a continuous learning process for companies and employees alike.
We believe that Romania, with one of the most dynamic economies in the EU, a clear outlook for the future, a thriving, safe, well connected and expat-friendly capital, really deserves to host a European agency and we are proud to be part of such an important project.
