The campaign is part of a nationwide blood collection campaign, developed in partnership with Ultrakrew in which each person can donate blood at every blood donation centre in the country.
Health is a key factor in the development of our communities. Globalworth Foundation wants to raise public awareness of the need for regular blood donations. Blood is essential for many life-threatening conditions and is the only tissue in the body that cannot be produced artificially.
Globalworth Foundation organises blood donation events for tenants of selected Globalworth properties in various Polish cities. Globalworth’s facilities in Poland are visited by over 100,000 people every day. We want to use this potential and encourage our tenants to donate their blood to patients who need blood transfusions.
Empowering our employees and our tenants to do good deeds and be involved in the community is one of our core beliefs at Globalworth.
WHO CAN GIVE BLOOD
People from 18 to 65 years of age:
- who weight at least 50 kg (110 lbs),
- who are in good health at the time of blood donation,
- who have not had acupuncture, tattoo, piercing of ears or other body parts in the last 6 months,
- who have not undergone any surgeries, endoscopic procedures, and other diagnostic tests (e.g., gastroscopy, panendoscopy, arthroscopy, laparoscopy) in the last 6 months,
- that have not been treated with blood and blood products in the last 6 months,
- experienced no temporary or permanent disqualification (no reasons for temporary and permanent disqualification).
