Corporate volunteerism is part of the DNA of the Globalworth company and foundation and could positively impact our company, employees, and community.
In Globalworth company we have implemented a one-day off policy for the volunteering time that gives the Globalworth employees the flexibility to volunteer during the workday and still get paid. This allows employees to give back to the local community — without having to give up a full day’s wages.
The partnership with the Poland Business Run Foundation is part of the company’s social responsibility program in Poland.
The Globalworth Foundation supports the Poland Business Run which is the largest charity business run in Poland attended by thousands of runners.
Every year, the employees of Polish companies, corporations and institutions get into 5-person teams and stand at the start of the Run for a noble cause. Funds from entry fees are transferred for prostheses, rehabilitation and medical equipment for people with motor disabilities.
For the fourth year in a row, Globalworth Foundation has acted as a partner of the Poland Business Run charity relay race with an entry of 70 runners in the course of 4 editions of the charity run to help people with physical disabilities, especially after amputations.
